On 13 October 2023, the Republic of South Africa and the Republic of Ghana entered into an agreement on a visa waiver regime allowing citizens of both countries to travel visa-free.
The notice indicates that as of 01 November 2023, travellers will be permitted to transit, stay, and depart through the territory of both countries for a cumulative period of 90 days.
Travellers will not be allowed to work during their time in either territory.
